This cedar wood keepsake chest /  handmade box is manufactured using traditional assembly methods in North Carolina by the Taylorsville Crate. We carefully cut, finish, and join every box  drawing on over 30 years experience in the case and crate making craft.

Using aromatic cedar for this large keepsake box and finishing with a clear lacquer coat, the natural reddish golden hue of the grain really shines.  At 9.375” x 14.75” x 5.25” this piece makes a great desktop accessory, living room decoration, or decorative bedroom storage. Finger joined corners provide an attractive decorative accent and actually make the box very strong.
